Managing Your Posts
The Posts page in Socialtility allows you to effortlessly create, schedule, and manage all your social media content in one place. Use this page to track all your posts, from drafts to scheduled content and published posts, keeping your social media strategy organized.
Posts Overview
On the Posts page, you can:
- Create New Posts: Craft new social media posts for any of your connected platforms.
- View Posts by Category: Manage posts across different stages:
- All: View all posts, regardless of status.
- Drafts: Posts saved as drafts that are not yet scheduled.
- Scheduled: Posts that are scheduled for future publication.
- Published: Posts that have already been published, along with their engagement stats.
- Trash: Posts that have been deleted, which can be restored or permanently removed.
- Filter by Account: Filter the displayed posts by social media account to get a clear view of what’s happening on each platform.
Steps to Manage Your Posts
Navigate to Content from the dashboard menu.
Click Posts.
Create a New Post:
- Click New Post to open the post creation window.
- Select the social media platforms you want to post to.
- Write your post and attach any media (images, videos, etc.) as appropriate for each social network.
- Schedule the post by one of the following:
- Setting the date and time for publication and clicking schedule
- Clicking Post Now to post immediately
- Clicking Add to queue to use the best time to post settings.
View Posts by Category:
- Use the tabs to switch between different post categories:
- All: View all posts, regardless of status.
- Drafts: Edit or delete posts saved as drafts.
- Scheduled: Modify or cancel posts that are scheduled for future publication.
- Published: View the performance metrics of posts that have already been published.
- Trash: Restore or permanently delete posts moved to the Trash.
- Use the tabs to switch between different post categories:
Edit or Delete Posts:
- To edit a post, click the pencil icon on the post in any category (Drafts, Scheduled, Published) and update the content, platforms, or scheduled time.
- Posts are automatically Saved as you are writing.
- To delete a post, move it to the Trash or permanently delete it from the Trash tab.
Filter Posts:
- Use the Filter option to view posts by specific social media accounts, making it easier to manage content for individual platforms.
