Post Activity and Collaboration
The Post Activity feature in Socialtility allows team members to collaborate in real time by discussing and reviewing specific posts. With activity notifications, threads, and mentions, it’s easy to ensure everyone stays on the same page during the content creation process.
Post Activity Overview
On the Post Activity page, team members can:
- Chat and Collaborate: Discuss and review posts with your team in real time.
- Create Threads: Keep discussions organized by creating threads for specific topics or feedback.
- Mention Team Members: Tag teammates to notify them of important updates or feedback.
- Enable Notifications: Receive activity notifications for a post by enabling the Notification Setting.

Using the Post Activity Notification Setting
At the top-right corner of the Post Activity page, you’ll find the Notification Setting. By default, notifications are disabled, but you can enable them to stay updated on all activity related to the post.
Steps to Manage Post Notifications:
- Locate the Notification Setting at the top-right of the page.
- Click the setting and choose from the following options:
- Watch: Receive notifications for all activity related to the post.
- Unwatch: Disable notifications for all activity, except when you’re mentioned in the post activity.
- Your selection will be saved automatically.

Creating Threads in Post Activity
Threads allow you to keep discussions focused and organized. Use threads to dive into specific feedback or topics without cluttering the main activity feed.
Steps to Create a Thread:
- Open the Post Activity page.
- Locate the specific comment or feedback you’d like to respond to.
- Click the Reply option below the comment.
- Add your response in the thread and click Send.

Mentioning Team Members in Post Activity
To get a teammate’s attention, you can mention them directly in the post activity. Mentions notify the tagged team member, ensuring they don’t miss important updates.
Steps to Mention a Team Member:
- In the Post Activity chat, type
@
followed by the team member’s name (e.g.,@JohnDoe
). - Select the team member from the list that appears.
- Type your message and click Post.
Mentions are a great way to ensure specific team members are aware of key feedback or updates.
