Post Content Approval Workflow
The Post Content Approval Workflow in Socialtility allows you to manage and control how posts are reviewed and approved within your team. Roles and permissions ensure that your team members have the appropriate level of access while maintaining the quality and consistency of your social media content.
Role Descriptions
Admin
- Can access and edit everything in the workspace.
- Can approve posts if Can Approve permission is given.
Member
- Can access and edit everything except managing accounts.
- Can approve posts if Can Approve permission is given.
Viewer
- Can access all content except the Configuration section.
- Cannot edit, schedule posts.
- Can approve posts if Can Approve permission is given.

- Can Post: Determines whether the user can create and edit posts.
- Can Approve Posts: Indicates the ability to approve posts created by team members who lack approval permissions. This permission must be explicitly enabled for any team member (Admin, Member, or Viewer) to post without approval or approve posts submitted by others.
- Can View Content: Determines access to view posts and content in the workspace.
Approval Workflow Process
For Posts That Require Approval
- A team member without Can Approve permission creates and submits a post for approval.
- The post enters a Needs Approval state and is visible to team members with the Can Approve permission.
- A member with Can Approve reviews the post in edit mode and can:
- Approve the post for scheduling or publishing.
- Request Changes to modify the post before approval via the post activity tab.

1. Post Needs Approval
The blue tick indicates that the post needs approval.
2. Post Pending Approval
The status indicates that the post is awaiting approval by a team member with Can Approve permission.
3. Post Approval
The green button viewable only by members with Can Approve permission. Click this button to approve the post.
