Video Guide
Watch the video below for a step-by-step walkthrough on approving posts.
1. Approve Posts from the "Approved" Tab
The Approved tab provides a centralized location for approving different types of content. This is ideal for users who handle approvals frequently across multiple post types.
How to Approve Posts from the Approved Tab:
- Navigate to the Approved tab from the left-hand menu.
- View all posts currently awaiting approval.
- Click the Actions dropdown next to a post.
- Select an action:
- Approve the post.
- Edit the post.
- Delete the post.
Best For:
✅ Users who manage multiple content approvals
✅ Handling photo contests, video entries, and testimonial campaigns
✅ Restricting user access to only the Approved tab
2. Approve Posts from the Calendar
The Calendar provides a visual way to approve posts by date, making it easier to schedule and modify posts before they are published.
How to Approve Posts from the Calendar:
- Navigate to the Calendar tab from the left-hand menu.
- Look for the exclamation mark (!) icon, which indicates a post is awaiting approval.
- Click the post to open the approval window.
- Choose an action:
- Approve the post.
- Edit the post.
- Copy the post and move it to another date.
- Delete the post.
Best For:
✅ Users who prefer a monthly, weekly, or daily view
✅ Easily drag-and-drop rescheduling
✅ Visualizing upcoming posts and approval status
3. Approve Posts from the Queue
The Queue tab offers the most flexibility for managing approvals. It not only shows posts awaiting approval but also approved posts, giving you a complete view of your workflow.
How to Approve Posts from the Queue:
- Navigate to the Publisher tab from the left-hand menu.
- Click the Queue tab to view pending and scheduled posts.
- Review approval notes, if any:
- Example: A note like "Please add our logo to this post" tells the design team what needs to be done before approval.
- Use Quick Actions:
- Change the category of a post before approval.
- Approve a post assigned to you through an approval workflow.
- Pause, edit, copy, or delete posts if needed.
Best For:
✅ Users who need full control over posts
✅ Managing approval notes and quick edits
✅ Auto-approval workflows (e.g., auto-approve after a set time)
Important Notes:
- Admins can approve any post.
- Non-admins can only approve posts assigned to them or held for their approval.
- The approval method you choose should match your workflow and team structure.
