How to Whitelist This Software in Avast Antivirus
Are you using Avast antivirus and experiencing strange issues with the user interface or functionality? Common issues include:
- Chat widget not showing up
- Social posts in the Publish dashboard not saving
- Settings not saving
- Other features not functioning as expected
These issues may be caused by Avast interfering with our JavaScript execution. To resolve this, you need to whitelist our software in Avast.
Add URL Exception:
- Add our URL (or your custom URL) to the "Add an Exception" list in Avast.
Add All Relevant URLs:
- Add all the URLs and pages you frequently visit to the "Add Exceptions" list in Avast.
Mac Users Note:
- On a Mac, go to the Avast Menu: Preferences > Core Shields > Web Shield (this section allows URL exceptions, not the File Shield).
