Troubleshooting Facebook Not Posting

If your Facebook posts aren’t appearing, it might be due to authentication issues. Follow these steps to re-establish proper connections:

  1. Remove and Re-Authenticate:

    • Remove all Facebook and Instagram accounts from within the software.
    • Also, remove the software app (Campaign Share) from your Business Integrations page on Facebook.
    • Re-authenticate in the software and be sure to check all permission boxes.
  2. Log Out and Re-add:

    • When adding a second Facebook account, first log out of the current account by going to www.facebook.com and clicking Log Out from the menu.
    • Return to Account Preferences in the software and add the next Facebook account. Repeat for each new account.
  3. Ensure Proper Role:

    • Verify that the Facebook account used for authentication has an Admin or Editor role. Roles such as Moderator, Advertiser, Analyst, or Jobs Manager do not have posting permissions.
  4. Review Settings:

    • If your settings appear different from what is shown in the instructional video, you might have a business account. In that case, go to the Apps section on Facebook to verify the settings.

  5. Additional Steps (if needed):

    • Consider creating a second Facebook profile.
    • Make this profile an admin of your Page(s) and re-pull the accounts with the new profile.
