Changing Who Receives Team Notifications
Managing Notifications
Socialtility allows you to customize email notifications for different team members. You can specify who gets notified for key events, such as disconnected social accounts, failed posts, RSS feed approvals, and campaign updates.
Video Guide
Watch the video below for a step-by-step walkthrough on managing team notifications.
Steps to Change Notification Preferences
- Navigate to Workspace Preferences in the top-right menu.
- Scroll down to Company Settings.
- Find the four main notification types and update who receives them.
Notification Types and Recipients
1. Disconnected Social Accounts
- Social accounts may become disconnected periodically, especially Facebook accounts due to security updates or password changes.
- Select who should be notified when an account needs to be reconnected.
- This can be agency staff or specific team members in your workspace.
2. Failed Post Notifications
- If Socialtility fails to send a scheduled post due to an error, someone must be notified.
- Choose a specific team member to receive failed post alerts.
3. RSS Feeds & Bulk Posts Approval
- If RSS feed posts or bulk posts require approval, designate who gets notified.
- You can select a different team member instead of yourself to receive these alerts.
4. Campaign Approvals & Updates
- If your team runs photo contests, video submissions, or testimonial campaigns, someone must approve entries.
- Assign a team member to receive notifications about campaign updates and approvals.
Best Practices for Managing Notifications
- Assign notifications strategically based on team roles (e.g., a content manager for failed posts, an admin for account disconnections).
- Keep your team informed to prevent missed approvals or urgent actions.
- Regularly review notification settings to ensure the right people receive important alerts.
