How to Change or Remove the Default Google Analytics Integration
Socialtility offers link shortening and tracking for all your shared URLs. This ensures that every link published on social media is equipped with tracking codes and shortened appropriately for each platform. These features enable us to monitor click-throughs and track activity on your links, providing valuable insights into your social media performance.

Steps to Modify the Link Shortening and Tracking Feature
Navigate to Workspace Preferences: Click the top-right menu and select Workspace Preferences.
Scroll Down to "Link Shortening": In this section, toggle the setting "Shorten and track all shared links" on or off.
- On: Enables automatic link shortening and tracking.
- Off: Disables both, meaning click-through tracking for posts (such as for viral sweepstakes) will not be available.
Custom Domain Option:
- If you prefer to use a custom domain for your shortened links, select the option to create a custom domain.
- We recommend using your existing domain with a "go" prefix (e.g.,
go.yourdomain.com
). - Follow the detailed DNS instructions provided by your domain provider to complete the setup.
- Note: Depending on your plan, you may need to contact your account manager to unlock this feature.
Save Your Changes: Once you've toggled the settings (and configured a custom domain if desired), click Save.
