Steps to Prepare Your CSV Spreadsheet
Download Example CSV:
- Begin by downloading the sample CSV template provided. This template outlines the required data format.
Review the Sample File:
- Open the downloaded file and ensure you do not modify the column headings in the first row.
Message Column:
- The first column should contain the message for each post (each row represents one post).
Link Column:
- Leave this column empty if no link is needed; otherwise, including a link will create a link post.
- If an image URL is provided, the post will be an image post.
Image URL Column:
- Enter the direct URL of the image (ending in .jpeg or .png) if you want to include one.
Video URL Column:
- Similarly, provide a URL ending in .mp4 if you wish to include a video.
Date and Time Columns:
- Specify the date and time for each post. Use the keyword "random" in the minute column for a random posting minute within the specified hour.
Additional Columns:
- Use columns for Pinterest Pin Title, Category, Watermark, Hashtag Group, and CTA Group as needed.
Video Thumbnail Column:
- If including a video, provide a URL for the video thumbnail (JPEG or PNG).
Save as CSV:
- Once all required information is entered, save the file in CSV format.
Following these instructions ensures that your CSV file is formatted correctly for a smooth bulk import process.
